This is is unused and in the original box with papers. It has been on display so bolsters show some minors rubs from laying on the box and being moved around. When taking pics I noticed some minor scratches on the front edge of the sheepsfoot blade. I bought them new, I don't know why they are there unless it came from the factory with the scratches-they are hard to see, you have to turn it just right in the light.
This Sowbelly is a part of the Green/Black Micarta Family. The smooth striped lines of different colored Micarta combine with a Case diamond shield to make for an instant classic look. The Sowbelly knife was named for its resemblance to the shape of a "pig's belly". This knife is a heavy-duty version of the Stockman knife that has Clip, Spey, and Sheepfoot blades. The Clip and Sheepfoot blade sit on the pocket end while the Spey blade sits on the cap end. The Clip blade is commonly used as a multi-purpose blade and preferred for detail work. The Sheepfoot blade allows for added strength at the point making it great for carving and achieving a clean cut. The Spey blade is commonly used as an all-purpose utility blade.
