This knife was a salesman sample-Buck never produced a gray handle knife-I am sure they put a coating over the handle to make the color-This one has a few spots where the coating is starting to come off-it was not stored properly
My retired Rep had many samples made for Bass Pro Shops-these came from him
It does have some long scratches on the blade from being pulled in and out of the sheath
