Utilizing Buck’s patented ASAP technology, the Momentum is designed for rapid one-hand deployment. The Momentum springs open with a single flick of the thumb. The Cerakote® coated 6061 T6 aluminum handle includes a removable stainless steel clip for discreet deep pocket carry. The heavy duty fasteners and S30V stainless steel blade enhance the durable construction, while maintaining a sleek look.

Blade: Long wearing CPM-S30V stainless steel is delivered in a highly utilitarian drop point profile with a discreet and durable black Cerakote finish. The blade deploys via the integral index flipper or oval blade hole with help from the ASAP assisted opening mechanism that delivers speed and smoothness in operation. The tip swedge tapers the blade to a fine point and pairs with the mid-height hollow grind to deliver a great balance of piercing and slicing performance while maintaining durability for extended daily use.

A Liner Lock is a folding knife that locks open via a tensioned metal liner inside the handle. Similar to a Lockback, opening the blade activates the lock. Unlocking is achieved by placing the thumb on the front part of the liner and pushing to the left, which releases the blade. Liner locks are typically one hand open, one hand close. A blade thumbstud, flipper, or hole, enables one hand opening.
