These were made with Improved 425m Steel
This style started in 1985 with very few made this first year. It ran through 1988. The large Buck logo was unliked by the consumer and the writing on the shield would rub off in your pocket

Both blades have good snap
The knife has been lightly used-there are a few very light scratches on the blade and the edge is a little wide out on the end on one side
It looks really really good except for the tip of the main blade
